MSU BILLINGS FOUNDATION & ALUMNI NEWS—The MSU Billings Foundation & Alumni today announced Kelly Schrock has been named the new Director of Special Events. Schrock will be responsible for planning and implementing the Foundation’s signature fundraiser, the MSU Billings Wine & Food Festival, and other special events.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kelly to our team,” said President & CEO Krista Montague. “We were proud to have such an outstanding pool of candidates; however, Kelly really stood out. We are confident she has the necessary experience and skills to lead our Wine & Food Festival.”
Schrock previously served as Development Coordinator at RiverStone Health Foundation for eight years. She managed annual fundraising campaigns, three major special events, and external communications.
“Kelly’s background in marketing, volunteer management, and donor development makes her a great fit for this role,” said Senior Development Officer Jeanne Moller, the long-time coordinator of the Wine & Food Festival. Moller recently announced her retirement but will stay on through the summer to transition the event planning.
“I am very excited to join the MSUB Foundation team,” Schrock said. “Jeanne Moller has done an amazing job with the Wine & Food Festival, and I look forward to continuing the growth of this community event on the foundation she created.”
Schrock holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in management and marketing from the University of Montana. Schrock is set to start in her new position on Monday, July 25.
