Long-time MSU Billings Foundation employee Susan Rhodes has announced her retirement as the Foundation’s scholarship administrator. Over the past 36 years, Rhodes worked with scholarship donors and students to disburse nearly $24 million in scholarships to over 22,700 students. Under her guidance, privately funded scholarships offered through the Foundation grew from $80,000 in 1982 to over $1.7 million in 2018.
Rhodes commented, “I will miss the wonderful people I’ve had the opportunity to meet through my work at the MSU Billings Foundation. And, although many of them I’ve only gotten to know through phone conversations, mail, or emails, they all hold a special place in my heart. The generosity and support from our donors has truly been overwhelming. I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and am looking forward to spending time with my new twin grandsons!”
Rhodes will officially retire May 15.
