Instructor Rallies for Equipment Needs

Steve Wodrich is the instructor for City College’s Automobile Collision Repair and Refinishing program. It’s the only program of its kind in Montana. Watching Wodrich teach his class about buffing out rust spots or painting a car, you see a person who brings two passions together: cars and students.

Wodrich and his students let their passions shine on ‘Jacket Giving Day, bringing in the most donors for virtual reality SimSpray equipment. SimSpray allows students to practice their auto painting skills without wasting supplies. After engaging 74 donors on ‘Jacket Giving Day, the group earned $3,000 in bonus money. The winnings brought their total raised to $8,925 on Feb. 20.

Wodrich also received a matching gift from VRSim Company, the makers of SimSpray. This generous donation increased their earnings to $25,925. With instructors like Wodrich in the university’s ACR&R classrooms, know that your vehicle is in capable hands with our graduates.
